The Paine Family Papers, 1835-1861, consist of of stock certificates, reports, and other papers relating primarily to the Painesville and Fairport Railroad Company (incorporated 1835), with which members of the Paine family were involved.
This collection will be useful to researchers studying the history of the Paine Family of Ohio, the history of Painesville, Ohio, and the development of the Painesville and Fairport Railroad Company in the nineteenth century.
The collection is arranged chronologically and is maintained in one folder.
