The Goodwin and Millard Families Papers, 1818-1888 and undated, consist of letters, memoranda, recipes, poetry and teaching certificates of the Goodwin and Millard families of Huntsburg, Ohio. Included is a journal of Emery Goodwin's journey from Connecticut to Ohio in 1818 and describing his carpentry work in Warren, Ohio, during that year.
This collection will be useful to researcher studying the history of Huntsburg in Geauga County, Ohio and the history of the early Western Reserve.
