The Chauncey W. Mead Papers, 1862-1865, consist of photocopies of letters to Kate Litzel of Cleveland, Ohio while Mead was in the service; also a descriptive note and a grave registration card.
This collection will be useful to researchers studying the history of the American Civil War and the experiences of soldiers who served in the 103rd Regiment of the Ohio Volunteer Infantry.
The collection is arranged chronologically and is maintained in one folder.
While there are no access restrictions on this collection, researchers will be asked to use the microfilm of this collection.
