The Charles R. Green Papers, 1851-1914 and undated, consist of correspondence of members of the 101st Ohio Volunteer Infantry concerning their Civil War recollections, pension requests, and biographical sketches. Also included are letters from Green requesting biographical and military data, and letters from his cousins Isaac and Julia Haskins, and others.
This collection will be useful to researchers studying the history of the American Civil War and the experiences of soldiers who served in the 101st Ohio Volunteer Infantry.
The collection is arranged by document type and then chronologically.
