The Ernst Payer Photographs, ca. 1982, consist of views of structures in the Greater Cleveland, Ohio, area, designed by architect Ernst Payer. The collection includes photographs of the Medusa Portland Cement Co. building in Cleveland Heights, Ohio; the A. Dean Perry summer home in Gates Mills, Ohio; the Charles S. Klaus house of Kirtland, Ohio; the Stinchcomb Memorial, Rocky River Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks; and the Ape and Primate Building at the Cleveland Zoo. The collection includes 41 black and white and color photographs of varying sizes and 20 35mm color transparencies.
This collection will be useful to researchers studying the history of architecture in Cleveland and northeast Ohio in the twentieth century.
