Organized in 1892, the club chose to identify itself with Frederick Locker-Lampson by adopting the name of his Sussex County, England, estate, "Rowfant." The club insignia, groundhog and candles, are used in initiation and election procedures. The collection consists of photographs, postcards, negatives, and sketches relating to the Cleveland Rowfant Club, its members, activities, facilities, and other related subjects.
