Bronson Papers. Bronson, Noah M. http://catalog.wrhs.org/collections/view?docId=ead/MS3777.xml Noah M. Bronson was an early settler of Medina County, Ohio, who served as a county judge (1823-1830). His son, Hiram, was sheriff in 1828, an Ohio congressman from 1865 to 1870, and a participant in the unsuccessful Cleveland, Medina and Tuscarawas Railroad Company from 1851 to 1857. The collection consists of a family record book containing the accounts of a store operated by the Bronsons and E.M. Oviatt, including a history of the Bronson family, references to the store's dealings with the Wayne, Medina and Tuscarawas Turnpike Company, details of transactions involving the values of labor, land, food and clothing, and five loose receipts. http://catalog.wrhs.org/collections/view?docId=ead/MS3777.xml Wed, 01 Jan 2014 12:00:00 GMT
