Caron (b. 1924) is a psychologist based in Cleveland, Ohio, and has been instrumental in the movement for the immigration of Soviet Jewry to Israel and the United States. He took an active interest in the trials of Ivan (John) Demjanjuk (1920-2012), a former Cleveland resident arrested for his alleged involvement in the German extermination camps of World War II, and collected materials pertinent to the trials for his personal research.
