His son Leon was a pianist with the Cleveland Orchestra and a cellist with the Bohemian and Cleveland String Quartets. His other son, Benjamin, was a pianist with the Chicago Opera and the Chautauqua Circuit. His daughters Berthe and Antoinette were music instructors.
