Most of the groups stem from Central and Eastern Europe, with a majority of the pamphlets focusing on Polish culture. The collection reflects the history of immigrants to the region and documents their social, cultural, and religious activities. He was a significant collector of classical music recordings, memorabilia, and ephemera related to the performing arts. Saul supported musical groups of all kinds throughout the greater Cleveland, Ohio, area, including Jewish music. Saul died at age 86 in 2009.
