The group was a spin-off organization of the Polish National Alliance. In addition to sponsoring an annual debutante ball, the membership raised money for Marymount Hospital in Garfield Heights, Ohio. The collection consists of a constitution, membership roster, minutes, correspondence, programs, newsletters, and newspaper clippings. The collection is relevant to the study of an elite ethnic social club that tried to assimilate some of the characteristics of upper class American society while simultaneously retaining their cultural identity. http://catalog.wrhs.org/collections/view?docId=ead/MS4392.xml Wed, 01 Jan 2014 12:00:00 GMT
