Sells (b. 1824) was a Coshocton, Ohio, soldier who served with the 122nd Regiment, Ohio Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War. The collection consists of correspondence, ordnance returns, military orders, autobiographical sketch, and papers relating to the court-martial of Sells, who was dismissed from the service for criticizing the war and the President and for vigorously supporting the candidacy of Clement L.
