Palermo, Anthony Jr. http://catalog.wrhs.org/collections/view?docId=ead/MS5189.xml Anthony Palermo, Jr. (b. 1926) was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and grew up in the Collinwood neighborhood of Cleveland. After serving in the United States Army Air Force during World War II, Palermo attended the Case Institute of Technology, graduating in 1949 with a degree in electrical engineering. He worked for the Picker X-Ray Corporation, developing x-ray and CAT scan systems. Palermo had an avid interest in local history, and he founded the South Euclid Historical Society and wrote the history of St. Gregory the Great Church (now known as Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish).
