 Abstract:  Henry Eldridge Bourne (1862-1946) was a professor of History at Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He was also active in local civic affairs. the collection consists of autobiographical and biographical material, an honorary law degree, correspondence, books and pamphlets by Professor Bourne, newspaper clippings, miscellaneous material, certificates concerning the International Congress of Historical Sciences (1902), and material relating to Bourne's work at the Library of Congress.
