Herbert Diamond was councilman and mayor of Bentleyville, Ohio, 1977 to 1996. Norman Diamond was involved in the Jewish Welfare Fund. Their sons were also involved in numerous philanthropic endeavors, including funding the Diamond Fitness Center and Diamond Scholarship at the Cleveland Jewish Community Center.
