 Abstract:  The Northwest Territory Caravan is the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution founded in Lakewood, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. The collection consists of letters sent to Mrs. Elatus G. Loomis, regent of the Lakewood, Ohio, chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, by members of the Northwest Territory caravan, 36 young men reenacting the trek of pioneers from Peabody, Massachusetts to Marietta, Ohio, as part of the Northwest Territory sesquicentennial celebration of 1938.
