Miller of the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company and J. Robert Crouse of the General Electric Company. Under the leadership of John E. Gray worked briefly with Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr., in Brookline, Massachusetts, before establishing a landscape architecture practice in Cleveland.
