His son, Hiram, was sheriff in 1828, an Ohio congressman from 1865 to 1870, and a participant in the unsuccessful Cleveland, Medina and Tuscarawas Railroad Company from 1851 to 1857. The collection consists of a family record book containing the accounts of a store operated by the Bronsons and E.M. Henry married Persis Treeman in 1857 and, after three years in Michigan, they settled on the Granger Township farm inherited from her parents. The collection consists of a single volume containing the accounts of Harris and Henry M. Reid and detailing the prices of various goods and services such as medicines, livestock, food, blacksmithing, rented rooms, and labor.
