His son Leon was a pianist with the Cleveland Orchestra and a cellist with the Bohemian and Cleveland String Quartets. His other son, Benjamin, was a pianist with the Chicago Opera and the Chautauqua Circuit. His daughters Berthe and Antoinette were music instructors. The collection consists of correspondence, newspaper clippings, scores and compositions, printed material, speeches and lectures, and drafts of books.
