Abstract: |
The George Worthington Company was a hardware company organized by George Worthington (1813-1871) in Cleveland, Ohio, in
1829 to sell the products of the Cleveland Iron Company. It later became one of the largest wholesale hardware dealers in
the United States. The company was dissolved in 1991. The collection consists of cashbooks, journals, sales books, invoice
books, and other record books.
