The collection consists of correspondence, legal briefs, court dockets, appeals, land warrants, surveys, title transfers, and receipts, relating chiefly to Massie's activities as deputy surveyor. The post-1813 papers relate to the settlement of Massie's estate and to land transactions and legal affairs of Henry Massie, southern Ohio lawyer. |
