Daniel L. Coit was an original shareholder in the Connecticut Land Company. Henry H. Coit settled in Cleveland, Ohio, in the
early 1800s and later moved to Liverpool. William H. Coit resided on Cleveland's east side until his death in the 1890s.
The collection consists of correspondence, land deeds, maps, and surveys of tracts of land in Cleveland and in Liverpool,
Ohio, belonging to Daniel, Henry and William Coit. Includes commission certificates of Henry H. Coit, and a combined recipe
book and garden journal (ca. 1837).
