Abstract: The Thompson family was a Middleburg, Ohio, family descended from Scottish pioneer John Thompson. Notable members of the family represented in the collection include Adele Thompson (b. 1849), John Andrews Thompson (1866-1916), and James Henry Thompson (b. 1870). Adele Thompson was a president of the Cleveland Woman's Press Club and the author of several works. The collection consists of correspondence, graduation invitations, leases and tax records, receipts, and miscellaneous printed materials.
