Abstract: Andreas Castro was a community relations representative with the Civil Service Commission, and leader in Cleveland, Ohio's Hispanic community. He helped form several committees and organizations to unify and advance Cleveland's Hispanic community, including La Raza Unida, the Spanish Center, the Spanish Democratic Committee, Spanish American Committee, Commission on Catholic Community Action, and the Spanish Speaking Task Force. The collection consists of correspondence, minutes, newspaper clippings, awards, constitutions, membership rolls, and budget reports of several Hispanic committees in which Castro was active.
