The Martha Faulkner Papers, 1866-1882, consist of a dental book listing patients names, prices charged, and diagrams as well as dates of the dental work performed. The notation listed on the inside cover, "Martha Faulkner, Belleville," suggests that Faulkner may have resided in Belleville, Ohio, however, there is no biographical information for this collection to substantiate that supposition.
The material in this collection pertains to dentistry in the second half of the nineteenth century. Those studying women's history will find this collection useful.
