The Cleveland Area Leadership Study was a major research project designed to study the power base of greater Cleveland, Ohio,
with emphasis on the decision-making process and the role of various community leaders. The project was supervised by Maurice
Klain, professor in the Department of Political Science at Western Reserve University. The collection consists of correspondence,
memoranda, interview transcripts, a subject file, questionnaires, raw data from Klain's studies on endorsements and voter
tabulations, interpretative computer printouts, and newspaper clippings.
