Abstract: | William Mumford Gregory (1876-1974) was a Michigan native who became a high school teacher and lecturer on economic geography in Cleveland, Ohio. William M. Gregory (1876-1974), a native of Michigan, was a high school history teacher in Cleveland, Ohio, and a lecturer on economic geography. He lectured at Cleveland College and Western Reserve University during his career. He also did extensive research of the areas around Lake Erie, both in Ohio and Michigan. He kept notes that detailed his findings.
