Abstract: | Jacob Strekal (1911-1984) was a Euclid, Ohio, resident active in Cleveland's Slovenian community. The collection consists of memoirs and historical sketches, organizational materials, clippings, programs and miscellany relating to Cleveland's Slovenian community. Included are a 1937 memoir by Frank J. Kern, an English translation of his "Spomini ob tridesetletnici prihoda v Ameriko", a 1929 yearbook of the Senior Slovene School, and financial audits of the Slovenian Mutual Benefit Association, 1957. |
