Abstract: |
The Galion Iron Works and Manufacturing Company was founded in 1907 by David Charles Boyd. The company manufactured construction
equipment and was well known for its road graders. The collection consists of one photograph album containing views of machinery
and equipment manufactured by the Galion Iron Works and Manufacturing Company of Galion, Ohio. Included are photographs of
coal tipples manufactured by the company and installed on a number of railroads. Also included are photographs of unloaders,
elevators, and other machinery, and photographs of letters of commendation from customers.
