Abstract: | The collection consists of aerial views of cities and industries on or near the Ohio Lake Erie shoreline. All photographs were taken by Earl G. Hoffman of Buffalo, New York. Ohio cities depicted include Cleveland, Elyria, Lorain, Painesville, Barberton, Euclid, Huron, Willoughby, and Sandusky. Other views include the Cleveland Municipal Light Plant, Cedar Point, Cleveland Hopkins Airport, and many businesses in lakefront cities. |

The Lake Erie Shore Aerial Photographs, ca. 1959, consist of aerial views of cities and industries on or near the Ohio Lake Erie shoreline. All photographs were taken by Earl G. Hoffman of Buffalo, New York. Ohio cities depicted include Cleveland, Elyria, Lorain, Painesville, Barberton, Euclid, Huron, Willoughby, and Sandusky. Other views include the Cleveland Municipal Light Plant, Cedar Point, Cleveland Hopkins Airport, and many businesses in lakefront cities.
The collection includes 146 black and white photographs that measure 14 x 11 inches and smaller and 238 black and white negatives that measure 4 x 5 inches.
