F.L. Raymond was co-owner of the Whitney and Raymond Organ and Melodeon factory in Cleveland, Ohio. The collection consists
of albumen prints in the form of cabinet cards and carte de visites, of individual portraits of members of the F. L. Raymond
family and their friends of Cleveland, Ohio. Many of the photographs were taken by Cleveland photographers; including James
F. Ryder, John H. Ryder, Edgar Decker, Wynne Smith, M. E. Beckwith & Sons, and George Johnson. Photographers from Painesville
and Olmsted are also represented in he collection.
