Abstract: John Branchflower (1844-ca. 1914) was a Cleveland, Ohio, native who lived in Rockport (Rocky River), Ohio for a time and may have attended Baldwin University in Berea, Ohio. He moved to Jackson, Michigan, and appears to have done carpentry and house-building work there. He married Emma Taylor in 1875 and had three children, Emma Grace Branchflower Goodall, Pearl Branchflower Dickerson, and John Roy Branchflower. The collection consists of portraits of unidentified members of the Branchflower family, and views of Frankfort, Michigan.
