 Notes:  The University 's commencement programs were printed as early as 1836. The Western Reserve University Bulletin, from at least 1912 to 1918, printed a schedule of events for commencement. There was also a separate commencement program, not published as part of the Bulletin. In 1942, Western Reserve University began having more than one commencement ceremony per year, usually in January, May/June and August/September. Separate commencement programs were published for each ceremony.
